Polyphenylene Sulfide (PPS) is a semicrystalline thermoplastic that offers the highest possible chemical resistance. This material is not soluble in any known solvent at temperatures below 200 °C. Plus, the glass fibers bonded inside the polymer improve its dimensional stability and improve its electric insulation properties.
A brief overview of the material's properties
The glass fiber bonded inside the polymer doesn't conduct electric charge and doesn't block radio signals (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 5G).
PPS is not soluble in any known solvent at temperatures below 200 °C. This material resists acids, bases, oils, and fuel.
PPS is a UL94 V0-certified self-extinguishing material without toxic additives. It offers thermal resistance of incredible 252 °C.
The glass fibers inside the polymer improve its dimensional stability without unwanted side effects, such as galvanic corrosion. This makes the printed parts suitable for direct contact with aluminum components.
You don't have to spend thousands on new printers to print high-temperature materials. Our printers are upgradable and versatile. A few small adjustments can turn the CORE One series 3D printers into a whole new product. Plus, we develop and test everything under one roof to bring the best possible results.
