Polyphtalamide (PPA) is a high-performance polyamide that offers incredible wear resistance under cyclic load. PPA-CF offers heat resistance up to 199 °C when annealed. Plus, this material resists oils and fuels.
What makes PPA-CF Core special
A brief overview of the material's properties
Great chemical resistance
PPA resists oils and fuel. This makes it suitable for use in automotive and other demanding applications.
High thermal resistance
When printed, PPA-CF resists up to 97 °C. However, when annealed, the heat resistance increases to 199 °C.
Improved interlayer adhesion
The Core-Shell technology enables better polymer bonding between the layers. This improves the interlayer adhesion by 50 % when compared to regular PPA-CF filaments.
