My appreciation to Prusa Research on a great product
I purchased an MK4S kit and would like to share my experience here. All of the parts as well as the resulting printer are of very high quality. Putting it together was fun and went smoothly. The assembly instructions are excellent. They are clearly organized, very detailed and include notes throughout on where to exercise caution. Many thanks to Prusa Research for the spare parts included as well. I needed them in two places because the number of original parts wasn't right. After a thorough self-test with automatic calibration, the printer worked right away. No manual calibrations were necessary, except for adjusting the tension of the drive belts and a little help with calibrating the extruder gear. I also find the adjustment of the drive belts using acoustic vibration measurement to be very innovative. This allows for precise adjustment of the belt tension. I'm thrilled with the result. The printer works flawlessly and with great precision.
