Happy so far.The Ruby nozzle initially bottomed out (no gap) in my trial fit from the OEM brass one. So, followed the instructions, cleaned and reapplied thermal paste, reset gap and put it all back together. Reset z-height from 0 to be safe but it ended up back where I had it before replacing the nozzle as I was careful to use the same shim for step 25 MINDA/PINDA initial height. RTFM;https://help.prusa3d.com/guide/how-to-replace-a-heaterblock-heatbreak-mini-mini_122769Prusa documentation is excellent.

I have now been using the nozzle successfully for several months on my MK3S+.During this time I have also used a lot of abrasive materials and am still very satisfied.A higher setting of the pressure temperature, as it is recommended in some forums, was not necessary for me so far. Probably because I print in a housing and thus an additional cooling of the tip by external influences does not play a role.It is absolutely necessary to follow the somewhat specialhandling instructions, because the tip reacts very sensitively when it comes into contact with the printing plate or with a wire brush (during cleaning). So read first, then use!

I print mostly abrasives, and I have printed a lot of it/them with this nozzle. This Olson Ruby has exceeded my expectations, and performs at least as good as is claimed. I think it is unfortunate that this product received negative reviews from users erroneously attributing their problems to this nozzle. I have not been very nice to this nozzle, at all, and after nearly two years, it still prints the same as it did new. If you break this nozzle, you likely mishandled it. Do you blame the hammer, when you smash your own finger with it? Next, this nozzle does not cause filament to leak from the block. Inadequate understanding of the printer, and bad installation of the nozzle cause that issue. That is an error by the printer operator. I made the same error and faced some pretty discouraging issues after printing great for a month. The result however, was that I learned so much about my printer (MINI+) that I found the confidence in using it for which I had always yearned. I wouldnt trade the experience for anything. The negative remarks here are extremely bold, and the complaints about this nozzle are simply not valid. I guess you always gotta consider the source, and appraise the proposed info accordingly. Personally, I think the most appropriate action would be to remove the misinformation. Excellent product. Overconfident novices focused on bragging rights, and spending for ego, may have bad results, but at least it wont be their fault. Hit me up if you'd like to take it to the forums for discussion. I won't flame there, and I can support my argument thoroughly. I will also help you address any of the issues described by others here, and tell you why it happened, and how the fix works. Cheers-
